http://www.epa.gov/acidrain/effects/forests.html#a3 <--- This site says that the effect of acid rain on plants is that acid rain is likely to weaken trees by damaging their leaves, limiting the nutrients available to them, or exposing them to toxic substances rather than killing them instantly.
